When it comes to choosing the perfect location for your Nikkah ceremony in New Jersey, there are many beautiful options available. However, one mosque that truly stands out in the Central NJ area is the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton (MCGP).

As a Mercer County–based wedding photographer, I’ve had the honor of photographing numerous Nikkah ceremonies at MCGP, and each one has been uniquely memorable. The interior of the mosque offers a serene and elegant atmosphere that’s perfect for a sacred Nikkah ceremony. Its beautifully landscaped exterior grounds also provide an ideal setting for a post-Nikkah photoshoot, allowing couples to capture timeless portraits surrounded by natural beauty.

Since the opening of the mosque, I’ve been fortunate to document many Nikkah events here, and I felt inspired to dedicate this blog post to showcasing the charm and beauty of this remarkable venue. What makes the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton particularly special is its combination of spiritual warmth and architectural elegance. The mosque also features a spacious built-in hall that can comfortably accommodate a few hundred guests, making it perfect for both intimate and larger Nikkah gatherings.

On a personal note, MCGP has become somewhat of a second home for me. Not only do I frequently photograph Nikkah ceremonies here, but I’m also an active member of the community—you can often find me attending Friday prayers and connecting with familiar faces.
