While there are several options to choose from on where to hold your nikkah ceremony, there is one mosque that stands out the most within the Central NJ area. That mosque is the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton. As a mercer county based photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many nikkah ceremonies at the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton (MCGP). The interior of the mosque is a beautiful place for a nikkah ceremony. The exterior grounds have been beautifully landscaped, perfect for a post nikkah photoshoot of the newlyweds.
Since the mosque’s opening I’ve photographed quite a few nikkah ceremonies here, and so I figured a blog post is the best way to highlight the beauty of this mosque. Since I get a lot of inquiries from prospective clients that will be having their nikkah here, this gives them a nice idea of what sort of images they can expect. For a mosque, I have to say it’s quite elegant. There’s also a built in hall that can easily accommodate a couple hundred people. I like to call this mosque my second home, because not only do I go there quite often to photograph nikkah’s, I personally know many members of the mosque and you can often find me there on Friday’s.
Below you’ll find just a few images from a few of the nikkah ceremonies I’ve photographed at this beautiful masjid. If you’d like to see more of my work, please do not hesitate to contact me using the contact form on my website.
