Here are some of my favorites from Adam & Amber’s engagement session I shot back in April at the Cape May Lighthouse. Check out the panorama photo of the Amber and Adam-this was my first attempt at creating a “Brenizer Method” panorama. For the non-photogs out there, the brenizer method is a panoramic stitching technique. Unlike traditional panoramas shot with wide angle lenses, the brenizer method is best achieved with a medium telephoto lens with a wide aperture, such as Canon’s 85mm 1.2 L (which is the lens I used). Multiple photos are taken using a wide open aperture, and then stitched together in post. This creates a wide angle image with a very shallow depth of field, something which can’t be achieved with regular wide angle lenses.
Can’t wait for the wedding in October!
