I'm in love with this image from Nisha & Michael's Waveny House wedding in New Canaan, CT. This image required a few minutes of prep time but it was totally worth it. This was also the first wedding where I used my magmod products. This image was a three light setup, and I did the initial test on my videographer because I didn't want the couple to wait outside too long (it was a december wedding and it was very cold). Plus I pulled them out of the reception for this shot and didn't want them to be away from the guests too long. One flash was aimed up towards the tree using a blue gel, and second flash was pointed towards the tree with a red gel, (lightstand was behind the couple), and a third flash pointed towards the couple. Once the test shot exposure came out just the way I wanted it, I quickly called the couple out and promised them it wouldn't take more then a minute. We were able to grab a few shots in under a minute thanks to the initial testing I did beforehand. I think the blue and red color in this image really makes it pop and makes it look unique. I really love the magmod light shaping tools and hope to use them in the next few weddings to create some killer images!
