Capturing wedding imagery in grand, dimly lit venues requires true technical expertise. For instance, the portrait featured above took place at the iconic Princeton University Chapel moments after the couple’s ceremony.
Because cathedral interiors can be quite dark, relying on natural light alone isn't enough. I used precise off-camera lighting to illuminate the couple naturally while preserving the gorgeous, stained-glass background windows. This technical approach ensures that every skin tone looks rich, luminous, and true-to-life—no matter how tricky the lighting environment is.
